In some ways I wish my metals class was over so I can finish up some stuff started on Christmas holidays. Our next project is a chain project, and I could have been making some jump rings, but I didn't want to. The farthest I got was wrapping the brass wire around the wooden dowels.
I'm more focused on a painting that I will be using for a portfolio piece right now, and now that I have some new white paint, I can get rolling on it some more. I have never done this much planning for a piece before. There's a painful amount of symmetry, and I wanted everything to be just right. Drawing out the masks was probably the hardest part, because then I also had to transfer them to the board. Anyway, click here to see. |

The happy result of "Monet for a Day", a one day painting class. I picked up some new ideas from the instructor, Alexander Ivanov. My mother also had a fun time painting too! |
