I wasn't planning on making any art related resolutions for 2008, but I guess one of them would be getting down to working on some old ideas. I produce art very slowly, mainly due to work and/or school, unfortunately. This one was conceptualized about 2 or 3 years ago.

I started logging how long it takes me from start to finish to make a picture. It's so easy to feel like nothing gets accomplished :-) I started Piggy, who is owned by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) fledchen on May 10 and finished him up today. That's not so bad.

If the chicken looks familiar, it's part of a bird sketch dump I posted a long time ago. I recently found a lost sketchbook and I was really quite happy about that! Some of the drawings are not as bad as I thought, so there will be more 5x7" sized pictures coming down the pipe.

I'm trying to make friends with markers. 3 2.5"x3.5" ACEOs featuring the foothills, a hoodoo, and just an average prairie scene.
I have been busy Knifty Knitting as of late and haven't really had the time either to sit down and do anything. Driving lessons, wisdom tooth extraction, and more driving lessons are what's going on in March in April :-)
